Nude lips seem to be all I blog about these days. It's gone from a passing interest to a mild obsession - you only have to look at my collection of MAC nudes to realise that!
I noticed a while back in Boots that Maybelline have expanded their collection of nudes, and promptly left with one. The shade I have is Velvet Beige (number 630). I love a slightly more pigmented nude like this, and there's a nice amount of pink in it which stops me from looking dead. It pairs really well with all of my current favourite lipliners, like the Penneys one (duh), and Rimmel Addiction, but it looks equally pretty worn alone.
The formula of this is lovely; pigmented, a bit glossy and non-drying. It wears away evenly (important when you drink a zillion cups of tea every day like I do), but lasts a decent amount of time on me for a non-matte. I honestly can't fault it for the price (€9.99).
Though my obsession with MAC, NARS etc will never die, I've just paid a hefty fee for my Masters and am on a tighter budget these days so you can expect plenty of affordable product reviews over the next while! Stay tuned for a round-up of my current (cheap) favourites...
