I've been a bad blogger. I'm sorry. Sometimes, you just aren't feelin' it and, sometimes, real life gets in the way. Recently, it's been a bit of both. Given how the next few weeks are looking, this haphazard pattern is likely to continue but, I'll do my best to be more present. Now, let's talk empties!
AlphaH Liquid Gold - I've easily gone through three or four of these since first trying it early 2014. Quite simply, it is the best chemical exfoliant on the market. I have a full, very in-depth review here should you be interested.
Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash - Again, my second or third one. MUFE's famed mascara is my all-time favourite. It gives ultra thick, ultra black lashes and creates more of a statement than any other mascara I have tried. I know a lot of people find this dries out very quickly but, I can honestly say I haven't noticed this. Highly recommend.
Kiehl's Ultra Light Daily UV Defense SPF50 - As with the Liquid Gold, I can't live without the Kiehl's SPF 50 moisturiser. It is incredibly light on the skin and sits under make-up like no other moisturiser I have tried. However, it's the high SPF in this that ultimately keeps me coming back for more. Full review here.
No7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser - This is what you should spend those No7 vouchers on. I have been using this as my morning cleanser for the longest time. It's not the best quality, it won't remove make-up brilliantly but, it's gentle and ideal for eradicating the products of the night before and leaving you with a clean base for applying make-up on.
REN Instant Firming Beauty Shot* - This is a really great hydrating serum and has been my go-to for mornings (pre-moisturiser). However, I wouldn't repurchase. Mainly, this is because of the horribly awful pipette dispenser that sucks up more air bubbles than product. Yes, it's a lovely product but, it's too much trouble than it's worth.
Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser - I suffer awfully with Keratosis Pilaris on my upper arms so, am verging on obsessive about exfoliating (both manual and chemical) and keeping the area moisturised and hydrated. I picked this new Nivea product up in Boots on a whim and I love it for its simplicity. You rub it all over your bod post-shower gel and then simply wash it away. I do follow-up with a further moisturiser but, skin is noticeably softer stepping out of the shower when I use this.
