Beltsander Brownie: Dessert for Dieters!
If you follow any fitness folk on Instagram, you will likely be aware of the #beltsanderbrownie trend. For the uninitiated, this is simply a high protein, low carbohydrate microwave bake that satisfies all and every dessert craving and is beyond easy and quick to make.
One scoop protein (any flavour)
60ml milk (I like unsweetened almond)
1/2 tsp sodium bicarb/baking powder
10g quality cocoa powder
To make one beltsander, combine protein powder with cocoa powder, your milk of choice and either some bicarb or baking powder. Mix it up until a paste-like consistency and then pop in the microwave on high. I like to give mine 10 second blasts to ensure that it doesn't overcook - the best beltsander will be chewy on top and gooey in the middle. Top with whatever your macros allow for.
