Despite having a rather extensive make-up collection, I still have those products that sit on my dressing table, in a special little box, that I reach for every single day. Most are repurchases, some are soon-to-be-repurchased, and all are products that just work really well for me.
Anastasia Brow Duo - I have this in two shades; Taupe and Medium Brown, and it's pretty much all I use on my brows. I focus the lighter shades in the Taupe duo towards the front while defining the arch and tail with the darker, greyer tones of the Medium Brown. I find that this holds up better than most other brow products and can even withstand the sweatiest of gym sessions!
MAC Quad - This is a quad that I made up myself and, nine times out of ten, I have a combo of these shades on my eyes. Vanilla is the perfect highlight shade while Texture is my favourite shadow for an OPE (one product eye) and Handwritten is my all-time greatest chocolate brown. Soft Brown is, stupidly, not available this side of the Atlantic but, should you ever find yourself in a MAC store stateside, I urge you to pick it up as the most amazing transition shade known to man.
NARS Douceur - My blush of choice for 2015 and, of course, NARS have discontinued it which royally sucks. This is the epitome of the perfect neutral blush; a greyish dusky pink that has the magic ability to both contour and lift the face. If you can find it, buy it.
Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Stick Cocoa - The phrase "every damn day" applies here. I smudge this chocolate bronze brown along the lower lashline and then wing it out to create an easy cateye effect that is perfect for hooded lids. Doesn't budge either - I have been resisting buying the whole line-up!
Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Kajal Black Coffee - Black Coffee basically sums up my life; all I wear is black and I love coffee which, incidentally, I only drink black. But, seriously. This eyeliner is all I have used for the last...nine months or so, and it's coming to the end of its life. I pair this with the aforementioned Caviar Eye Stick, using it along the waterline and then use the sponge on the other end of the pencil to smudge it all together and create that flick.
NARS Translucent Crystal Light Reflecting Pressed Powder - Can you tell how much I love this? It comes everywhere with me and sets my make-up like nothing else. There is no colour and, interestingly, no residue with this baby. Just a beautifully glowy (but, crucially, not shiny) finish to the skin.
Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash - Be still my mascara loving heart. This is probably my fourth tube of this stuff and it's all I use for thick, full, blackest black lashes. Cannot recommend enough.
