Makeup collection videos are my absolute favourites and, after revamping my own set-up, I wanted to share it with you! I've also included some close up pictures of my dressing table and beauty drawer. Hopefully the video's not too shaky and you enjoy it!
When you hear "beauty tools" you probably think make-up brushes and sponges. However, there is so much more that goes into how we style ourselves. It all might seem a bit mundane, a bit basic, in comparison to the shimmery highlighters and bright lipsticks we all love but, when I sat back and thought about what beauty tools I couldn't be without, I surprised myself with the list I came up with - especially as only one make-up brush made the cut!

This month I placed orders with Escentual and Cloud10Beauty, and a couple of other new products landed that I've been trying out. I feel like I've really got my skincare routine downpat at the moment (see last week's ramble for more evidence of that), I know what I really like and have also found a few new items of late that I'm quite enjoying.

Good news - the Boots 3 for 2 offer is back! So, what better time that to do a run-down of my favourite affordable beauty bits. I've loads to talk about in the video, so hopefully there's something that you haven't tried before among all the products!

I'm a self-professed matte addict. Hand me a matte lipstick or eyeshadow and I will be as happy as if you had offered me the chance to meet Beyoncé - well, almost! However, I'm also a sucker for a bit of glow on the skin and love that luminous finish so much that I have rounded up my favourite "glow getters" to share with you today!

I've a quick video today to give you my thoughts on a lipstick I was really excited to pick up this weekend - MAC's Viva Glam Rihanna. I am really happy with it, and love how bright and cheery the shade is - it's put me in a good mood for the week ahead. Have a look at the video for more details!

I was looking back through loads of old YouTube videos I had favourited way back when and came across the 40 Beauty Questions Tag video that I thought would be fun to do! I tag anyone who wants to do this tag - maybe we can resurrect it!

Alpha H Liquid Gold is one of those beauty products that has been on The List for ages but, I have never quite got around to buying it. However, one day last month I was perusing HQ Hair and saw that they had a twin-pack for a really good price. So, I roped my sister in and we ended up saving ourselves almost €20 each! Sadly, that duo seems to be gone now but, definitely keep an eye on the site if you're interested because, trust me, this is one skincare product everyone should have handy.

Today's video is a long, rambly, but hopefully informative one in which I talk through my entire skincare routine! I only do these routine posts when I'm really happy with everything I'm using and how my skin is looking, which, happily, is the case at the moment. All of the products I'm talking about are listed down below, and also in the downbar of the video. Hopefully this will help any of you that have the same skin type as I do - enjoy!

If you remember this post, you'll know that I love having huge, volumised hair but, hate the damage teasing and overly stressing it causes. However, I'm always in a bit of a Catch 22 because I have poker straight hair that only holds volume at the roots if its forcibly coaxed into place and heavily sprayed. So, it stands to reason that I love any mega-hold hair product that can also deliver on the volume front.
Enter the new Elnett Volume Excess* (€4.42/€7.98/€10.66), a reinvention of the iconic and eternal-favourite Elnett hairspray that has an added texturising compelex.

After Dee recorded her January favourites, I started to look around for my own. However, I quickly realised that I don't use enough new products in a month to warrant a monthly favourites. So, instead, I'll be bringing my favourite products to you every 2-3 months in the form of Current Favourites. Hope you enjoy!
Now I'm back to REN, a brand which has probably been my favourite for skincare over the last year. After using and loving the Clearcalm cleanser (which I need to repurchase ASAP!), I decided the mask from that range would probably be worth a punt as well.

Clarins is a brand that, pre-blogging, I had little-to-no interest in. Fast-forward three years and it has earned itself the status of one of my favourite brands. From skincare to make-up to bodycare, the products are of the highest quality and very rarely disappoint. I have rounded up some of my all-time favourite Clarins goodies in order to give you the briefest of introductions to the brand. Writing this, I realise that I have left the Clarins Huile Santal out which is somewhat sacrilegious as it is a firm part of my daily skincare routine but, I have a full post on that here so, you can check it out.

I have always, always wanted to try something from the Tom Ford line but could never quite justify the extortionate pricing. After racking up quite a few points on my Brown Thomas loyalty card, a lipstick was suddenly a lot more feasible, and of course I went with a bright, loud shade - True Coral. The video is after the jump if you'd like to see whether or not it's worth the hype!

Last weekend, as part of my marathon filming session, I tried my hand at a Get Ready With Me style video. I love these kinds of videos and always have them on in the background when I'm getting ready in the morning! I think it turned out relatively okay save for a few focus issues with a new lens so, hopefully you like it! I went for a daytime-appropriate neutral look and all of the products used are listed in the description of the video!

You are all well aware by now that Dee and I have a lot of time and respect for La Roche-Posay as a brand. Every product has a specific purpose and every product that we have tried has performed as promised. Recently, I went along to the launch of the newest La Roche-Posay product; Rosaliac CC Crème. As the name suggests, it is joining the Rosaliac line-up which targets skin redness and, in the most severe of cases, rosacea.
Now, neither Dee nor myself suffer with rosacea but, we know a lot of you do (it's not called the Curse of the Celts for nothing). So, despite not being able to actively review the products, I did want to take the opportunity to introduce you to the Rosaliac line, including the new CC Crème, and share some tips I picked up at the launch.

As I've become increasingly obsessed and picky about eyeshadow, the same thing has happened with brushes. I've always been a firm believer in good make-up brushes, and own far too many at this stage. These four are definitely my most used for blending eyeshadow out post-application, and building up extra colour in the crease. I'm hoping that post might be useful to quite a few of you as if you're after picking up one of the numerous new palettes that have hit the market over the last few months, it's worth making sure that your tools are top-notch to get the very best out of your eyeshadow!

I always find it interesting and useful to see what products people go back and purchase more than once. If you want to see me put my money where my mouth is (figuratively, that is!), take a look at this video!

I've been having a bit of a love-in with high end foundations recently. It's not so much that I'm actively being a snob but, I get a lot more from buying expensive foundations than I do from buying budget. What I mean by that is, yes, they are more expensive but, I am guaranteed a better shade selection to choose from resulting in a near perfect match which, as you other pale ladies will relate too, is nigh on impossible to achieve from the drugstore alternatives.
However, I am about to eat my proverbial hat because, one of my current favourite foundations is about as drugstore as they come. No7, the Boots house brand, have recently launched Stay Perfect Superlight Foundation* (€18.50), a lightweight, ultra resistant foundation that gives skin a natural looking 'skin finish'.

Happy Saturday everyone! I've been on a filming frenzy today as I woke up super early and felt motivated to do stuff! What's in my Bag videos are some of my favourites to watch so, I decided to add mine to the pile. I've also included a quick review of the bag I'm using - the 3.1 Philip Lim Medium Pashli, as I know it's a popular bag, so hopefully it can help you make your mind up if you're considering it!
Hope you enjoy!

Just a quickfire video from during the week on the new Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes! I bought the neutral-toned one (of course!) in Mood Exposure and am pretty obsessed with it. I love how it adds just the right about of colour to the skin while still managing to give the illusion of having cheekbones. At £28/€35, these are not cheap but, by God, are they worth it!
My skincare routine has undergone something of an overhaul in recent months. I mentioned in my winter skincare update that I completely wanted to reassess what I was using and introduce some new products into the mix. Skin, like hair, can become immune to the benefits of products if they are used for a prolonged period of time so, in order to get the best results, I find a new moisturiser here, a different toner there can make a huge difference. I took this manner of thinking to the extreme and basically phased in all new skincare products bar one so, I figured an update was in order now that I have fine-tuned my routine!

Everyone give yourself a pat on the back for surviving January, the bleakest month of the year! Genuinely, I actually had quite an enjoyable January but, I am looking forward to everything the rest of 2014 has to offer. I've done quite a bit of beauty shopping over the last 3-4 months (see video evidence here) but, that's not stopping me lusting after many other new and lovely things!
1. Phillippe Starke Louis Ghost Chair // 2. NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Damned // 3. Wayne Goss Makeup Brushes // 4. NARS Pro Prime Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base // 5. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure // 6. Aerin Amber Musk

Ooh a video on a Monday, that's new! The NARS Narsissist Palette (€49.00) launched this past Saturday and I'm sure some of you are considering a purchase. I snapped mine up two weeks ago when NARS released a few on their website and have been trialling it ever since. So, I wanted to put together a quick video, reviewing the palette and showing you how some of the shades apply.
