Bit of a creepy title for a blog post, no?! I've never really done one of these 'bedside beauty' posts before but thought it might be a useful way of summarising yet another slew of products that I manage to use quite often - I get through a lot!
ThisWorks Deep Sleep Pillow Spray*
Let's get the most hyped of the bunch out of the way first. This is expensive but once you use it, you won't want to go without it - it genuinely works for me. If you're a bit of a stresshead or just have trouble nodding off at night, this is the business - try it.
Sam Farmer Deodorant
This blogging business has made me fairly high maintenance. I never thought I'd be using a 'niche' deodorant of all things, but here we are, and I've no complaints. I originally got this deodorant in a gift bag from the opening of Space NK on Grafton Street during the summer, and since then I've repurchased it twice. Because it's a roll-on, I like to use it before bed (TMI perhaps?!) and it has to be the most gentle yet effective formulation I've ever used.
La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5
I'm sure most of you know the drill with this one. It's a lovely nourishing balm that moisturises and soothes any kind of inflamed or itchy skin. I use it as a mask and on any dry or sore patches on my face or body, and it always works a treat - nothing equals it!
La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Hands*
A sister to the above, this stuff is a gorgeous balmy formulation for hands. I'm making a conscious effort to use this more as the winter creeps in, and it's no hardship really as it soaks in fast and doesn't leave an oily film. It's very simple and works well. Love it.
Burt's Bees Peppermint Foot Cream*
Let me tell you a funny story: the first time I used this it kept me awake at night. It's a very, very minty cream that nourishes feet nicely - just watch how much you use! It's really cooling and kind of tingly - hence it kept me awake! - brilliant for tired feet and heavy legs. I've found that this tube is lasting a long time, and it's probably the nicest pedi product I've come across yet.
