Soap & Glory Orangeasm
I don't love every scent that Soap & Glory make, but when I do, I really do. Case in point: Sugar Crush. Last year, I was all over that stuff; the scrub, shower gel and body butter all made regular appearances in my routine. Needless to say, I'm a bit of a sucker for citrus scents, so S&G's newest offering, Orangeasm, is right up my street.
So far, I've just purchased the shower gel and body butter - I don't know if there is a matching scrub, but I have seen a 'Super Tonic' body spray version of this fragrance which, when I sprayed it, reminded me more than a little bit of Clarins Eau Dynamisante and Roger and Gallet Eau des Bienfaits. If you're familiar with that breed of scent, you'll know what to expect from Orangeasm; it's fresh, clean, sharp and sweet all at once.
This is a really zingy, refreshing tonic fragrance which veers a little bit away from the sweetest side of citrus. It's incredibly awakening and enlivening; the shower gel is definitely one to save for early mornings. Like all Soap & Glory shower gels, you get a huge amount (500ml) in the bottle; it foams up really well, too, meaning that one bottle is well worth the money and will last forever and a day - in fact, I've always struggled a bit to use up these body washes!
The body butter is another serious treat, but I think the Sugar Crush one is a little thicker and more moisturising, Regardless of that fact, this is still worth a purchase - it's incredibly hydrating and refreshing. The scent sticks to my clothing in a non-offensive way - I actually can't get enough of it.
Soap & Glory is definitely one of the more expensive bodycare brands stocked in Boots, but to me it's totally worth it. You usually get more bang for your buck in terms of product weight and it's concentrated stuff - you only need a little at a time. The fact that Boots have a great rewards system and lots of tempting 3 for 2 deals also takes a little of the sting out of the price, too!
