This is a huge, synthetic haired foundation brush. It looks, bristle-wise at least, like those flat foundation brushes that were once the norm but, the key difference is the huge, densely-packed dome shape that works to quickly buff foundation into the skin in just a few seconds...literally!
I first heard about this brush in a post Laura wrote and then, when Dee bought it and told me I had to have it, I went and ordered it myself. Both said it was really quite spectacular and neither were wrong. The reason I love it is the sheer size of the head and how it works to push the foundation into the skin with the least amount of effort possible, guaranteeing an even, flawless base.
The damage on this is €30.20 so, right around the price point of a MAC brush, maybe even a touch cheaper and I think that is a fair price for the size and quality of the brush. I ordered from BeautyBay.com which is great because it has free shipping and it took about a week to arrive. I've tried it with the Chanel Perfection Lumière Velvet, Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk and No7 Stay Perfect Superlight Foundation and it's worked flawlessly everytime. However, Dee tells me that it is a match made in heaven with Laura Mercier Silk Creme so, I will have to try that soon!
