I work in an office and, by choice, I like to keep my make-up quite understated and fresh. Monday through Friday, I am a far cry from the smokey eyes and bold lips I love and, I wanted to share that kind of look with you today for a change. There's both a video and a post to talk you through what I conceive to be a work-appropriate look and I hope you like it!
My number one aim when getting ready in the mornings is to do it as quickly as possible. I don't want faffing around with make-up to eat into my precious sleeping time and have this routine down to a fine art. As I mention in the video, lips and eyeshadow are always more of a "special occasion" addition to the routine as I tend to reserve them for days when events are on etc., so, I can usually get my full face done in around 10 minutes.
I like to opt for a light base with medium coverage and a general neutral tone to my make-up overall. Because this look is so subdued, I think it is equally workable for school but, only to the extent you think you will get away with it - no amount of pretty eyeshadow is worth getting detention over!
