I reverted to an old favourite eyeshadow combination a lot this month. If you are a longtime reader of the blog, you'll know that the little MAC quad I'm talking about was the result of a makeover I had with MAC for my 21st birthday and, while I have never managed to recreate the amazing work the MUA did with these shades, I do wear them a lot as they work so well together and while still neutral, are a nice alternative to the normal bronzes and browns I gravitate towards.

A word on the blush. I have been pretty much head-over-heels in love with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure since I got it and did a whole video on it. It looks quite subdued and flat in the pan but, on the face, it just comes alive. There is so much dimension and depth to the shade and I find myself sighing happily every time I see how it carves out my non-existent cheekbones and warms my face up. So much love.
