So you want to push the boat out and splash a little cash for someone special this Christmas? Well, I just trawled the interwebs and my own personal wishlist to see what I could bring you that was around the €50 mark or a bit less.
Laura Mercier Artist's Palette for Eyes - £36.00
It will probably come as no surprise that I have included this palette in the gift guide. It is by far the best beauty purchase I have made all year and I think everyone with even the mildest interest in beauty should own it. Full detailed review here if you're interested!
Rebecca Minkoff Monogram Pouch - €38.53
Rebecca Minkoff is one of those designers that is comfortably nestled in between low and high end. While her bags do start around the €100, these little pouches are great value from €30+. Perfect for using in small bags, I particularly like the monogrammed ones for a bit of personalised gift.
Aromatherapy Associates Festive Bath & Shower Collection - €43.75
Whether it is face oil or hair oil, there is something so sumptuous about beauty oils and this collection of 10 Aromatherapy Associates bath and shower oils is the perfect gift for someone who loves to be pampered.
Smythson Daddy Cool Textured Leather Notebook - €50.00
Smythson notebooks are so damn chic, not to mention practical, and come in a huge selection of colours and embossed with a selection of funny quips. This Daddy Cool one would be great taken literally for a new dad or dad-to-be or lightheartedly for the man in your life who thinks he is super suave.
Tom Ford Lip Colour - €46.00
Lipsticks come and go but, the King, Tom Ford, still reigns supreme. I still haven't quite managed to justify buying one of these for myself (in part because I know I would come over all particular about "ruinung" the embossed TF on the tip) but, if my budget was €50 and I was buying for someone who understood the significance of Tom Ford in the make-up world, I would snap one of these up in a heartbeat. Absolute perfection.
