Christmas Gift Guide - Last Minute Ideas

With just five days to go until Christmas you've probably got everything beautifully wrapped, ready and waiting under the tree. Or...maybe not! Every year, there always seems to be that one stray gift that leaves you slack with fear that you've forgotten someone.

Worry not, whether it's a genuine slip of the mind, an unexpected holiday party or receiving a present you weren't expecting and getting in a flap trying to reciprocate, I have some ideas that could be worth keeping in mind (or even keeping a few in the cupboard!) just in case! Better yet, most of them are not Christmas-centric so, if you buy a few to have on-hand that you don't use, you could always save them up for future birthdays etc.

Rituals Fragrance Sticks - €23.50
Ever since I tried Rituals in a Glossybox many moons ago, I have been in love with the brand. These reed diffusers are a lovely alternative to a candle and are great to bring to a house or to give to someone who you know likes nice smellys like candles, flowers etc.

Tangle Teezer - €13.48
This might seem like a strange little present but, trust me, everyone ends up loving the Tangle Teezer! You can get them relatively cheap and often on 3-for-2 in Boots so, great for picking up in that final Christmas rush. These also make amazing stocking stuffers for both young girls and older women.

Real Techniques Core Collection - €28.99
I got to the end of my wishlists and realised I had totally forgot to include the Real Techniques Core Collection. But, then I realised it would be a perfect gift to have on-hand for a fellow beauty obsessed lady or easy to pick up quickly on a trip to Boots, perfect for last minute shopping!

Newbridge Silverware Steam Train Christmas Decoration - €25.00
These Newbridge Silverware Christmas decorations are the perfect gift to bring along to a Christmas party or dinner in someone's house. They come packaged in a gorgeous little box and each piece is beautifully crafted. It's something that is suitable for a man, woman or couple and is a nice bit of nostalgia.

Blue Star Patterned Mug - €15.00
I spotted this mug in Debenhams a few weeks ago and filed it away into the "For My Future Kitchen" list! I love the colourway and abstract stars and stripes and, if only they weren't €15 apiece, I would have a full set! However, one or two of these would make a lovely little gift, especially if you don't know the person too well.

  1. Tangle Teezers are the best! Lovely list!

  2. Love the mug! Would love to pick it up for myself :)
