There are two shades for the season; Nude Now and Greige Gardens. Both play into the popular pastel trend but, the neutral hues ensure that they will still be wearable when pastels are a thing of the past (If you're concerned about your nails being "on-trend" that is!).
Incidentally, I am a big fan of muddy, greige* polishes so I am totally enamoured with Greige Gardens; both the name and the shade! It's a hard colour to describe, as all greiges are but, I would say that it is a charcoal grey that leans definitely towards the purple side of things. It's extremely flattering on my pale skin and manages to make even my stubby fingers look long and lean!
Although I admit to overlooking it in my initial excitement over Greige Gardens, Nude Now is another gorgeous shade. It's an understated, warm peachy nude which is easy to wear. I would hazard that it could look rather orange on anyone with very yellow-toned skin but, I couldn't be certain as I have a more pink undertone.
This duo is a really great edit from Sally Hansen. The shades are both wearable and work-appropriate while also being unique from the usual brights of summer. While Greige Gardens applies like a dream in two coats, Nude Now needs a bit more work as it comes off a bit sheer in places, especially around the white tips of the nail. However, an extra, thin coat solves this problem and I get a good five days wear out of them (including a top coat) before having to reapply.
