Nuxe has been one of the best skincare discoveries that I've made thanks to blogging. Their Reve de Miel range, launched last year, was faultless, and now they've come out with another bunch of amazing products, the Rose Petals Cleansing range.
I was at the launch of this range a while back, and was amazed at the amount of products included! Obviously, there was a plethora of cleansers on offer (cream, gel, micellar etc), and there is also a mask and an exfoliating gel in the range.
I've been using this mask for a while now (I was given it at the event) and can safely say that I adore it. When I was given it initially, I thought that it might be too creamy and rich for my combination skin. I couldn't have been more wrong, though - it's quite a light, yet nourishing clay mask. You don't need a lot to cover your face, it goes on quite thick and creamy and then dries down to a 'clay' finish. Behold:
Sexy, no?!! I usually leave this on for about ten to fifteen minutes (sometimes longer if I'm engrossed in Gossip Girl or similar) and washing it off always makes me happy. There's something about this stuff that strikes the perfect balance between clarifying the skin and also refreshing and caring for it.
What I'm getting at here is that this mask is very gentle and not overly harsh on the skin, which I think is quite a rare thing for a clay/clarifying mask. The only downside is that it comes in a jar - not the most hygienic packaging, but not too bad either as I only use this about once a week.
Nuxe Clarifying Cream Mask is €19.40 for 50ml, available from selected pharmacies and Arnotts. It's a gorgeous product that has definitely helped my skin and would be worth the splurge. I'd recommend it for all skin types unless you're very dry!
