She Said Beauty Box
As you can see, the box is gorgeous. A Tiffany-blue shade with white flock accents, She Said Beauty really stands out from all of the other boxes available. The lid is attached to the box whereas the likes of Glossybox lift off separately.
The internal packaging is similar to that we've seen before; pretty tissue paper, a bow and a branded sticker. I do really love the hot pink and turquoise theme.
The April box is the first to be available to order in Ireland and contains a Bellápierre Shimmer Powder, a Filthy Gorgeous nail poilsh, a Mischa Barton lip balm, a sample of BVM Face and Neck Polisher and two sample packets of sachets from Comfort Zone and Erno Laszlo (this also came with the Harrods Glossybox last month). There was also a mini Lindt egg but, I, err, ate it!
She Said Beauty is joining a market that is nearing saturation point. There are only so many boxes that people can subscribe to and only so many people who will subscribe to them. That being said, She Said Beauty seems like a solid offering with gorgeous packaging and generous samples.
I do feel like some people expect too much from these subscription services however. You sign up to receive a monthly surprise and are fully informed that most if not all of the products contained will be samples. There will be some months that you're unhappy with your box but, that's the risk you take so, it's worth being aware of this before you commit your money.
You can sign up for She Said Beauty here. It costs £9 (plus £2.95 p+p) and I'll update with euro prices if I can get them! She Said Beauty have also given us a coupon code for you to get 25% off your first box. Just enter SSB25OFF at the checkout!

looks so lovely! i think pink is a great shade for the season :D
ReplyDeleteooo mischa barton, I didnt know she had cosmetics!
ReplyDeleteHmm if Glossybox keeps messing up with postage I think I'd change but with the whole overlapping with products soo much I think it's a waste getting two.
ReplyDeleteI wish we had something like this in my country (Croatia) :( they are a lot of bloggers here and I think it would have a huge impact.. lovely box!
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty good. I was happy(ish) with my Glossybox, but I think at the end of the day, especially as I'm saving my college fees, I'd rather spend money on something I know I want rather than risk the disappointment. At least that's the conclusion I come to! But I think when I start properly workin out of college and have a few quid I'll definitely be subscribing to this kind of thing regularly! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of these boxes but I just cant afford them. This one particularly looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteI like this... I'm giving up on Glossybox for a while as they keep sending me shower gel! I'm not sure if they're giving me a hint ;)
ReplyDeleteI think I'll keep my eye on this one and see what their offerings are like over a couple of months before I sign up.
As it is, I think I'm better off keeping my e15 and buying something I know I want..
