I also have Too Faced Shadow Insurance which I also like because you only need a tiny amount, so the tube I have will last me forever. However, I do find that if left for a while, the product can separate which isn't great. So I usually only use these as bases if I want the colour impact to be super-strong.
My favourite eyeshadow bases are Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadows and I have three of them: Birthday Suit, Busy Signal and Strut.
Hope you enjoy!

I'm smothered with a cold at the moment and have been having a miserable day having had to struggle through a thesis meeting and skip the gym so, I thought I would do a fun and sparkley nail to perk me up a bit. The base is Wild and Crazy's Trashy Pink which I got last week and the glitter is, old faithful, GOSH Magic Star. I took a picture with flash so you could see the true colour of the pink (left) and without flash so the glitter would show up (right).
I really like this combo for spring/summer; very tropical and kind of reminds me of a Sex on the Beach cocktail! As a side note, I have really been enjoying these Wild and Crazy polishes. The quality, consistency and pigmentation is really awesome and I am definitely going to pick up a few more soon!

|Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer, Essence Liquid Eyeliner, MUA Lipstick in Shade 11, Revlon Matte Lipstick in Stormy Pink|
I've picked up a few things recently in Boots and Superdrug, which I've been meaning to blog about for far too long!

1. Are you named after anyone?
There's a running joke in my family that I was named after Sinead O'Connor but, as far as I know, my name was just a toss up between Siobhain and Sinead.

I got OPI Rising Star at the start of January and have had some trouble using it as over light polishes it ends up looking like your nails are speckled in dirt. However, pairing it with a dark polish really makes the glitter...glittery and stand out.
I used it here with Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps Hard as Nails as my base because my nails are in awful condition and Sally Hansen Mirror Shine as a top coat so the glitter wouldn't be rough and grainy to the touch.
If you're a regular reader you'll know that I have a serious lipstick
fetish. I recently back to MAC'd for this beauty (I had to laugh at them not giving me a box, I mean who cares?!) and I'm in love with it.

As I have said before, I don't really "do" concealer. Thankfully, I don't generally need it but, when I do, it never seems to sit well on my skin. So, what I have been using for well over a year now is my YSL Touche Éclat.
Yes, this product is pricey (approx. €28) but, it does last forever, even with almost daily use. AND it's multi-purpose.

The concept behind them- a long-lasting, hard-wearing manicure, is genius. Who wouldn't want that?
Unfortunately, in my experience, that is not quite what you get.

When it comes to things like foundation, we really feel it's important that we both do our own posts as we are two different skin types. I have normal skin while Dee has combination so, if her post would suit you better, you can check it out here.
I heart this nail polish. I love how dark it is without being boring or flat - it is best described as a blackened dark red. I also love the name of the shade as I actually got it when I was living in Paris for a few months! :)
I first heard about these eyeshadows over on the lovely Karen's blog and have been dying to give them a try ever since. MUA is a range that, as far as I know, is only available in Superdrug. Everything from the range is €1.20 so I figured that even if they were only mediocre they were still well worth a shot.

My all-time favourite blog posts and YouTube videos are of people's make-up collections and how they choose to store it. I think it must be the nosy parker in me coming out, wanting a sneak peek into people's lives- even if it's just something as small as their make-up!
I always find that I am really inspired to re-organise my stuff and try new ways of storage so, I thought you guys might like to see mine! Once I have a bit of spare cash I will probably come up with a new system as this one is getting full and, once I do, I'll show you that too!

The product is super duper light-weight and makes the skin look airbrushed and flawless like they claim. I have tried it over my NARS Sheer Glow foundation as well as over another powder product, my MAC MSFN, and neither of the times did I look powdery, ghostly pale or cakey. It just seemed to lock my base in place and settle into the skin, camouflaging any imperfections and highlighting all the areas we like highlighted; cheekbones, temples, nose bridge, Cupid's bow.

I love posting NOTDs seeing as I paint my nails so often! The first time I wore this polish I really wasn't gone on it but it has actually grown on me loads. For a 'neutral' this is quite an interesting colour - kind of a mauvey taupe. The consistency is great and wears really well. Let me know what you think!

If you know me, this will hardly come as a shock. I can't stop buying nail polishes. My collection is beginning to frighten those who don't understand! However, if you are reading this I will presume you are sympathetic to my addiction.
