Crème Prodigeuse line a while back and promised a review, so, ehm, here I am! I'm going to review what has been the stand-out product to me. The Anti-Fatigue Moisturising Cream makes a lot of promises, and, as always, I was sceptical as to whether it would deliver.
This moisturiser is designed for day wear for normal to combination skin. Through the use of anti-oxidants, it promises to enrich, energize and protect the skin. It also claims to mattify by the inclusion of mineral powders.
As a girl with combination skin, I am extremely fussy when it comes to what I use on my face, and my number one concern is always my day moisturiser. I have come to expect this step in my routine to prep my skin for makeup, as well as caring for and hopefully improving it during the day. Quite a tall order, but this is pretty much what the NUXE cream was offering, anyhow.
I'll stop blabbing now: I LOVE this stuff. It smells gorgeous without being overpowering, it sinks into my skin and mattifies straight away, creating the most perfect base for make-up (seriously, you'd think I'd already applied a primer). With continued use, it also perked up my skin considerably and I am now worried that my skin has been missing it since I used up the tube. My face felt nourished and cared for, spots were minimal, and it wasn't too heavy.
I'll definitely repurchase this and would recommend it to absolutely anyone. If you're interested, this range is available from Arnotts and selected pharmacies at a fairly hefty €23 for 40ml. As always, I wouldn't be recommending it unless it was worth the spend. I'll be picking mine up in Trinity Pharmacy on Westland Row to avail of the student discount!
