New Offerings From LUSH!

The only thing we like more than Lush itself is when Lush launches new products and, judging by the massive reaction to the exclusive preview of this year's Christmas collection we gave you a few weeks back, so do you!

Lush are launching a whopping sixteen new products, one for each cosmetic category ranging from bath treats to body pampering! The collection has only in the last few days been launched in stores nationwide and, while we do have some samples winging their way to us to review for you all, I thought it would be good to introduce you to each of the products so you can start saving/adding to your Christmas lists!

Phoenix Rising Bath Ballistic (€3.70): This one is rather reminiscent of the Vanilla Fountain ballistic but, in a gorgeous purple and gold colour way. Containing shea butter, cocoa butter, jojoba oil and essential oils, Lush say that this ballistic will have you rising from your bathwater, renewed and rejuvenated like a, err, phoenix. Geddit'?!

Rose Queen Bath Ballistic (€3.15): With rose absolute, geranium and rock rose, this new ballistic will give your bathwater a gorgeous rosy tint and a soft floral scent while also releasing bits of tiger lily, larkspur petals and apple blossom to drift on the surface.

Now, if you're like me and hate the clean up involved with bath ballistics that release bits, here is a tip; pop the ballistic in a sock, tie it up and drop it in your bathwater. It will still release all the same goodness of colour and scent while catching all the loose bits!

Bubbleroons (€3.70 - €4.50): Don't these just have the cutest name? Bubbleroons bubble bars are loosely styled on the oh-so-chic treat of macaroons and come in Rose Jam, Yuzu and Cocoa and, em, Green (Lost a bit of imagination there, eh?!).

With grass, orange flower and lime, green will bring a fresh summer scent to wintery days. The rose absolute, rose oil and Egyptian geranium oil in Rose Jam will soften and balance the skin while the warming scent of cocoa absolute combined with light grapefruit and bergamot oils in Yuzu and Cocoa will both warm and lift your spirits.

Yes, I am aware there is a fourth Bubbleroon in the image below and no, I cannot figure out what it is or why it's there!

Dirty Soap (€4.95/100g): The Dirty range from Lush smells rather sexy so, I'm excited by this soap which promises to leave you smelling irresistibly of spearmint, sandalwood, pine and oakmoss. Yes please!

Lust Soap (€4.95/100g): Infused with the jasmine-based Lust perfume already carried at Lush, Lust soap will, apparently, "give you clean thoughts of pure lust." Okay then....!

Peace Massage Bar (€8.90): Inspired by the tumultuous London Riots, Lush have used their signature Synaesthesia spa treatment to fill this massage bar with oils for Acceptance, Forgiveness, Peace and Calm. Lush have gone one step further to engender peace and have used cocoa butter from a peace project in Colombia as well as olive oil from an Israeli Fair Trade project.

Friends With Benefits Massage Bar (€8.70): Tagetes, the essential oil from African marigolds, is revered for its healing and soothing properties. This, combined with Fair Trade Cocoa Butter has resulted in a massage bar that is said to smell like chocolate orange. It's not Terry's...

No Drought Dry Shampoo (€8.50): I think this one will get beauty brains all a flutter as we do love our dry shampoo. Puff this onto hair or hands, work through your mane and brush out for a refreshing boost. With a light scent of lemon, lime and grapefruit, this is sure to go down a treat and is one product I will definitely be checking out!

Moon and Sun Steamer Tab (€3.15): Pop the Moon and Sun Steamer Tab in a bowl of hot water and lean over it, covering your head with a towel to allow the Neroli and lavender-infused steam to lift your mood and balance your skin.

Dream Steam Steamer Tab (€3.15): Containing the same blend of oils as the super-popular Dream Cream, Dream Steam will de-germ your skin with tea tree oil while rose absolute calms redness. Chamomile and lavender oils will help to calm and destress your mind.

British Nanny Moisturiser (€35.00 for 45g): Lush are famous for their facial moisturisers and British Nanny is a rich, anti-aging moisturiser that is loaded with sun protection (SPF30) and nutritious ingredients including almond and hibiscus oil for vitamins C and E and shea butter, almond oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil and candelilla wax to moisturise and hydrate. Sounds perfect for winter!

Ro's Argan Body Conditioner (€19.95): Body Conditioner just sounds lovely doesn't it? Scented with rose jam, this body conditioner is packed full of ingredients to nourish and hydrate your skin. Cypress Oil, Capuacu Butter, Brazil nut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, almond oil and, as the name would suggest, vitamine E-rich Argan oil moisturise and soften the skin while spring water hydrates and cools. 20% glycerine locks in all this goodness. Slightly strangely but, all the same, intriguing, you use this as you would hair conditioner; shower, apply all over, rinse off and pat dry!

Lustre Dusting Powder (€12.50): With the same jasmine scent as the Lust range, this dusting powder has a faint gold shimmer in it to give skin a glow. I'd say this would be lovely over fake tan during Christmas party season!

Latte Lip Tint (€6.50 for 10g): Latte Lip Tint sounds absolutely delicious! Almond oil, organic jojoba oil and japan wax give it its nourishing, moisturising texture while Fair Trade coffee flavouring, icing sugar, vanilla powder and vanilla absolute give it that delicious latte aroma and flavour. Definitely will be a hit among you coffee lovers!

So, see anything that takes your fancy?
