Boots Haul!
Ladies, just in case you weren't aware of this joyous offer, Boots are currently doing 3 for 2 offers on haircare and makeup! Happy days. Needless to say, I took advantage of both offers with great vigour.
First up, I stocked up on some haircare essentials.
John Frieda 3 Day Straight is a product that I have already reviewed and loved. It's brilliant if you have coarse, frizzy hair and want to tame it fast.
I usually buy Tresemmé or V05 heat protectant, but went for the James Brown version on a whim, and I'm liking it so far. It smells good and doesn't weigh down my hair, which is pretty much what I look for from this kind of product.
John Frieda Thermal Protection Hair Serum is a product that I constantly recommend, and couldn't be without. I think that if I had to pick one hair product to live off for the rest of my life (deep breath), it would be this. I've tried a ton of serums over the years to calm my hair, and nothing has worked like this one.
Next up, the good stuff. How could I possibly pass up 3 for 2 cosmetics? I found myself perusing nail polish (bold) and picked up two by Revlon.
As well as everyone's favourite glitter of the moment, Facets of Fuschia (and yes, it is as deadly as everyone says it is), I picked up another shade from their new Top Speed line. These have been available in the States for yonks, but have only just landed here recently. Cloud is a super-pale lilac colour that is gorgeous on, and wears pretty well! Expect a NOTD featuring this very soon, I'm in love.
Finally, I grabbed a L'Oréal Colour Infallible eyeshadow to make up my trio - at this stage, my friend Jade was getting pretty fed up of me ooohing and ahhing over everything....sorry Jade! I went for a really light champagne colour (White 1), as I need more inner corner-highlighty-type shades. These shadows have fantastic pigmentation and staying power - I'm impressed and will be back for more.
What do you think of my purchases?
