Soap & Glory: Do A Bubble Take €24; Higher Shower €27; Yum at Heart €21.50
Soap & Glory: You Cube €13.50; Big Splendour €81
Obviously having cottoned onto the popularity of Soap & Glory last Christmas, Boots has come out with upwards of 11 gift sets this year (we have 5 pictured above), ranging in price from a Secret Santa-friendly €13.50 to a whopped under-the-tree present at €81.00. All of the sets are, as usual, cutely named and packaged and the products included are well put together.
Kiss Me Quick: Lollypop Facecloth €4.50; Kissing Booth Lipgloss Trio €6.75; Carousel Bath Box €13.50
Kiss Me Quick is the perfect stocking-stuffer brand. Everything is super cute and girly, adorably packaged and all priced under €14. Boots present these as "teen beauty gifts" but, I would say that the fairground themed range would appeal to women of all ages because it is something a bit new and a bit different!
Sanctuary: Escape & Unwind Collection €29.99; Ultimate Pamper Case €54; Selection Box €27; Luxury Handcare Duo €13.50; Skin Quenching Collection (and right) €16; Perfect Essentials €13.50; Glowing Skin €24; Spa Delights €10.75
As you can see, there is a pile of gift sets on offer from Sanctuary this year. I always think that these make for really expensive-looking gifts when, in actual fact, they aren't at all! Priced between €10 and €54, pretty much any mammy/sister/cousin/aunt would be chuffed to get the opportunity to give themselves a pamper. The packaging seems a bit springtime however for a Christmas-targeted collection.
Boots Extracts: Mini Mix Gift Bag (Body Butter and Body Wash) €8; Selection Box (Body Butter, Body Scrub and Body Wash €13.50)
Extracts is one area where Boots have really stepped up their game in recent years. It appeals to those of us obsessed with The Body Shop but, is really competitively priced without compromising on packaging, scent of quality of the product. This year, Boots have five main gift sets available, in different scent-ways, priced between €8 and €30. Extracts is also Fairtrade so, you can feel guilt-free if you also snap one up for yourself while you're there!
Champneys: Manicure and Pedicure Kit €54
Champneys is a luxury spa treatment brand that, like Sanctuary, looks really expensive but, you get good bang for your buck. While I would say that Sanctuary appeals to women of all ages, Champneys strikes me as a slightly more...mature brand. I'm not sure why but, it doesn't appeal to me personally but, again, mammy/granny/aunty/mother-in-law would be lucky to receive one of the luxury gift sets Boots has to offer. Prices are a bit steeper here, starting at €16 and climbing right up to €68.
17: Wash Off Self Tan (Part of Bronzing Kit) €16
We couldn't possibly have photographed all that No7 and 17 have to offer this festive season. This post would have been miles long and, frankly, you would have abandoned ship long ago. However, gift sets with both of these brands are always similar each year and include nail colours, skincare, make-up and brushes. No7 gift sets this year range in price from €13.50 to €88 and, yes, there are a few Poppy King for No7 sets with the most expensive coming in at €24. From No7's little sister brand 17, gift sets start at €8 and are priced up to a favourable €24. I'm particularly intrigued by the 17 Wash Off False Tan pictured above, seems it could be a worthy contender against Rimmel for festive party nights out!
