Budget Beauty: Girlz Only Dry Shampoo
We're going to start featuring one product a week that comes in under a fiver because, let's face it, we're not getting any richer and it's not always necessary to spend €20 and upwards on one cosmetic item! Our first budget beauty product is one I featured awhile ago in a beauty basics haul. I bought the Girlz Only Dry Shampoo from Penneys/Primark to see if it could contest the ultimate favourite, Batiste and, admittedly, I did not have high hopes for it (Call me a snob!)!
Coming it at €1.90, it is marginally cheaper than Batiste and, aside from the embarrassingly preteen-esque name, it puts up a strong fight against the reigning champion!
It really does what it says on the tin and is a great dry shampoo. It is not especially powdery, nor does it leave a white dust lingering in your tresses. You simply shake, spray, squirt and scrunch to soak up any nastiness and get an extra day out your barnet.
It also has a really refreshing, floral scent that I actually prefer to any of the Batiste ones I have tried. Colour me impressed!
