I was in Boots yesterday buying a few boring things (contact lens solution...zzz) and managed to get a couple of beauty bargains as well! John Frieda hair products are currently on a two for €9 offer, which is a great deal seeing as one of the products I got was about €7!
The orange Frizz-Ease serum is one of my favourite hair products ever, so I'm pretty confident that these will be good too. I picked up the Emergency Treatment Leave-in Conditioning Spray which is supposed to be used on damp hair. As I've mentioned before, I'm on a mission to maintain the health of my hair so I can wait a little longer before getting a trim, and I think this will help.
I also got the Heat Defeat Protective Spray, as I have just run out of my Tresemmé one. This looks and smells lovely, and the packaging is great as the spray pump has an on/off mechanism, which makes it brilliant for travelling. As always I'll report back on the quality of these products, but so far I am impressed. Also an updated hair routine is long overdue from me!
With my purchases, I received one of the infamous Boots €7.50 vouchers, and instantly made a beeline for the No.7 makeup brushes. I got an eyeshadow blending brush, and I love it! It's perfect for blending shadow into the crease area with mimimal effort. The fact that this is my second one of these brushes is just a testimony to how good it is, and it was free with the voucher! You can read more about some of my favourite cheap brushes here.
