FOTD: Coral!
It's no secret that I'm a massive fan of loud lip colours and this look is no exception. I'd been dying to try a coral or orange lipstick for ages, so here's what I came up with!
Face:
I started off by concealing my blemishes with Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer and then I used some YSL Touche Éclat under my eyes. I don't rate it as a proper concealer, but my undereye area was grand on the day this was taken so all I needed was a bit of highlighting, which is what this product is great for.
I applied Max Factor Xperience Foundation with my MAC 187 and then powdered lightly with Collection 2000 Loose Powder. I contoured lightly using MAC MSF in Comfort and finally applied Beauty UK blush in Peaches and Cream. I got this blush on our bloggers' shopping trip and I have to say I'm loving it!
Brows:
I did my usual eyebrow ritual, which consists of filling them in with a mix of two eyeshadows: the darkest shade from the Revlon Quad in Coffee Bean and a tiny bit of MAC Carbon. I really need to get MAC Swiss Chocolate as I think it'd be a good match and would totally speed up this step in my routine!!
Eyes:
I prepped my eyes using Too Faced Shadow Insurance and then applied MAC All That Glitters, Woodwinked and Antiqued. I lined my upper lid, waterline and tightline with Bourjois Effet Smoky Liner in black, and finished off with Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara.
Lips:
I topped off the whole look with Revon Lipstick in Coral Crush.
What do you think? I was kind of wary of such an orangey lipstick but I've definitely come round to it!
Love,
D x
