To briefly sum up what I think of them, the pigmentation, staying power and range of colours are all very good...more on that to come!
One of the shades that immediately jumped out at me is Flirty Fuschia, a deep magenta pink. Upon closer inspection, it's no wonder it instantly appealed to me as it's a near-perfect dupe for MAC Girl About Town!

It's amazing how close these shades are. When swatched side by side, Girl About Town is a more pigmented, slightly deeper pink. However the Avon shade is really buildable, and on the lips it's hard to tell them apart!
Were you able to guess which shade was which? In the top photo I'm wearing Flirty Fuschia and the bottom photo (taken from this FOTD post) I'm wearing Girl About Town.
I'd say the main difference is that Girl About Town is slightly darker and more pigmented on the first swipe. The finish of the Avon lipstick is a little more glossy, but still comparable to a MAC Amplified Creme finish in that this initial glossiness fades to a residual stain on the lips over a couple of hours.
To finish, I think this is one of the closest dupes I've ever come across. However I do still love MAC lipsticks over most, and seeing as there is only €5 in the difference I think it is worth it. Having said that, if you don't have access to MAC this Avon lipstick is a brilliant alternative.
