I've decided over the past couple of months to move my monthly favourites to mid-way through the month, just to avoid too much repetition on the blog seeing as there is two of us! However this one is more than a bit late, apologies!
First up are two skin products - I have to say that I've been really impressed with Neutrogena of late. They have a massive range of face washes and I'm currently rotating between these two. The Visibly Clear Gentle Exfoliating Wash is a nice gel with gentle beads, perfect for waking yourself up in the morning. I'd stay away from this if your skin is in any way dry, but I find it great for my combination skin (which has actually improved a lot over the last two months - skincare routine coming soon!).
I've also been loving the Visibly Clear 2-in-1 Wash/Mask after our good friend Karenhttp://lovelygirliebits.blogspot.com/ raved about it over on her blog. It really is brilliant, even my little brother likes it (ssshh!). It gives your skin a lovely tingle and as it's clay-based it's great for deep cleansing. As a mask it's also just fantastic and I think it really does help keep spots at bay.
I also have a particular lip combo that I've been wearing loads this month. It's Avon Can't Resist Coral with Revlon Vinyl Gloss in Fashion Icon on top. The lipstick on its own is amazing too - the finish is almost identical to that of a MAC Lustre - but the gloss adds extra oomph!
My next favourite has actually been in my posession for ages now, but I've been reaching for it more and more this month. It's a palette from TheBalm that we were sent for review back in February. I've recently been giving the blushers a lot of love, particularly Hot Mama. It's like Coralista's slightly sluttier older sister, as the colour is a little stronger and it contains more shimmer. It looks so good at night time with a bit of bronzer, and I'd totally recommend buying either the entire palette or just the blush on its own - both are available from A Wear.
A brush that I've been reaching more and more this month is my Ecotools powder brush. I'm all about decent brushes on a budget, and this one really fits the bill. It's super soft, washes really well and does't shed due to the Taclon (I think!) bristles. I'd definitely reccommend this if you're in the market for a new powder brush, and it also does a great job with bronzer.
Finally, my last favourite is fairly self-explanatory - my new piercing ;)
