Everyone and their granny seem to be doing some version or another of this post at the moment, so I thought I'd give my two cents!
|L-R: OPI Big Hair...Big Nails, Sally Hansen Yellow Kitty, Barry M Pure Turquoise, Chanel Morning Rose, Models Own Jade Stone|
These are all fairly predictable shades for summer - brights and pastels that all look great with a tan. In spite of my ridiculous nail polish collection, I've been steadily coming to rely on these shades above all others. And, most importantly, don't they all look so pretty lined up together?!
OPI Big Hair...Big Nails is a deep coral-orange that dries to the most gorgeous, glossy, plasticky finish. It's very 80's and very me. NOTD here!
Sally Hansen Yellow Kitty is a shade that the two of us have raved about incessantly. It really is a flattering, creamy shade of yellow, and a great one to pick up if you're a little wary of the trend. I think I may even prefer this shade to its more expensive sister, Chanel Mimosa. See Sinéad modelling it here.
Barry M Pure Turquoise is one of my favourite Barry M shades ever. I've had this one for a year now, and I actually said to Sinéad the other day that I think the formula has thickened a little and improved with age! I don't have a proper NOTD post for this yet, but you can see it as part of this nail art special post.
Chanel Morning Rose is a very special shade of pale pink with some subtle added sparkle. I've already made a massive fuss over it in this post, so I'll say no more!
Models Own Jade Stone is another polish that I've had for ages and still love. I want more minty shades though, let me know if you have any suggestions! See Jade Stone on my paws here.
