Small Haul: Lancome & MAC

MAC Antiqued, Lancome Teint Idole, Lancome Bi-Facil
So last week, I FINALLY had enough money to repurchase my favourite foundation of all time. This was a joyous occasion that I'd been looking forward to for months! I LOVE Teint Idole and have been using it since I was 17. It's perfect for keeping my oily skin in check without being overly drying or 'flat'-looking.

Like a lot of mattifying foundations, you have to blend it out quite fast, and it then sets to a healthy-looking matte finish. It also smells gorgeous and the bottle is pretty! I actually get compliments on my skin when wearing this foundation - quite shocking for someone that looks like a Death Eater with no make-up on ;)

The girl at the Lancome counter in BTs was also nice enough to give me a generous-sized sample bottle of Bi-Facil eye make-up remover. I've had this in the past and it it probably my all-time favourite but I would never shell out the money for a big bottle! It is super-gentle and really effective - a little goes a long way, so hopefully this will last me a while.

MAC Antiqued

Antiqued - Swatch
I can rarely walk past MAC without buying something, and last week was no exception. I picked up Antiqued eyeshadow, a gorgeous reddish brown that goes perfectly with my blue eyes. I'm excited to play with this and come up with a few different looks :)

  1. I like the look of Antiqued.

That's a great size for a sample of the eye make up reomover, you did well there. (I love getting generous sized samples or samples in general really).

  2. Same here! Usually Lancome just give me sachets of foundation that is way too dark for me!
