Review: Soap & Glory The Fab Pore Facial Peel

I have a very bad habit of changing up my skincare routine quite often, as I am always looking out for new facial products that will improve my combination skin. I'm actually not sure how bad this habit actually is, as if I stick to  the same regime for too long my skin tends to sort of get bored and stops reacting to the products.

On my last trip to Boots I picked up this 'facial peel' - I'm using quotation marks because I think of a 'peel' as an actual peel-off mask -  this is really a clay mask.

Not that I'm complaining, because the product inside this pretty little tub is really great. I'm a massive fan of Soap & Glory and I think this is one of the best products I've tried so far. I think I've always been a bit sceptical when trying their stuff out - my reasoning being that the packaging is so pretty that the actual product couldn't be that great!

The product is a white clay with tiny blue beads. You massage it onto your face until the beads have burst and then leave it on for 5 - 15 minutes. I've been using this for about two weeks now and I think that it definitely has helped the overall appearance of my skin and reduced blackheads. Having a face mask in a pot is always a great idea anyways, as it encourages you to use it rather than randomly buying sachets. Having said all of that, I probably won't repurchase this for a good while. I'll try something else and then maybe come back to this, as I really don't want my skin to get bored of this beauty!

Love,
D x

  1. Thanks for the FAB review Dee and Sinéad!

Just wondering if you managed to see Marcia (S&G Founder) when she was in Dublin in the beginning of March? If not check out what she got up to here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?id=18490678996&aid=285211

  3. Looks good! Do you think it would be alright for dry skin?

  4. I don't think so because the clay formula would be fairly drying!
