Topshop Dublin Personal Shopping

I don't think we've ever done a post like this before but, I'm actually so excited about this that I wanted to give it a bit of promo! If you've been reading the blog for awhile, you might remember my sisters and I took a post-Christmas shopping trip to London.

I had booked us in with the personal shoppers in Topshop in Oxford Street which turned out to be one of the best decisions I had ever made!
First of all, the Oxford Street store is HUGE. As in, so big that you would never find anything you had set out for and you would probably need more than a day to browse the entire store which is where the saving grace of personal shopping came in. The service is free, you just have to book a month in advance for either an hour or two hours, and you get a huge private dressing room where your own personal shoppers have pulled racks and racks of clothes for you and set them up. Oh, and there are free cupcakes, drinks and magazines laid out all over the suite!

As there were three of us, we had two shoppers at our disposal who (as an aside, were immaculately dressed!) couldn't do enough to help us whether it was change sizes, pull new bits or just take our vague descriptions of something we would like and go off and find a few things that suited. We ended up spending a fortune which is how I think they can offer the service for free but, came away with piles of merchandise.

I'll have to stop myself here before I get too carried away reminiscing about the time I spent in fashion heaven and get right to the point. Again, my sisters and I were in Topshop but, this time it was one of our own Dublin branches, St Stephen's Green. We were queuing for the dressing rooms upstairs when a girl came over and asked us would we like to use the new personal shopping rooms (probably since there were a few of us together and also to get the word out about the service). Naturally, we said yes!

She told us that the service only launched in here this month and, if you are planning on spending a bundle  (even though there is no obligation to buy) in Topshop or want to revamp your wardrobe, I would really recommend that you make use of it. The leg work is done prior to your arrival as you let them know your style and the kind of pieces you are interested in and you just get to go in, relax and feel a little bit like a celebrity for a couple of hours.

You can book in-store, by emailing or by calling 1800 535570.

  1. Will definetly be using this service the next time I'm spending a bundle in Topshop (I save and normally go on splurge there twice a year). Sounds like a great idea.

  2. It really is! You get treated like royalty and are bound to find items you never would have seen/chosen yourself! The rooms here are smaller though than those I was in in London but, the privacy and no queues is still well worth it!
