Sinéad's March Favourites

After consulting with my Twitter buddies Claire and Karen, we decided that it was close enough to the end of the month to start posting some monthly favourites! This was my birthday month so I have a few new bits that I'm loving as well as some random favourites!

If you missed my February Favourites, you can check them out here!

I am obsessed with this MAC quad that was put together when I got my make-up done in MAC on my birthday. The colours are super neutral but, as all the onlookers in MAC that day said "you would never think to put them together; from left to right there is Crystal Avalanche, Vanilla, Quarry and Smut. I especially love Quarry.

My godmother gave me this roller-ball bottle of Jean Paul Gaultier Classique ages ago and it sort of got lost amongst the rest of my perfumes but, I pulled it out last week and remembered why it used to be my favourite- smells amazing! The roller-ball is great to throw in your bag and you use hardly any as opposed to my usual spray-happy way of applying perfume!

Rimmel French Rose and GOSH Magic Star
This combo featured in my most recent NOTD post and I love it. It's so natural and clean yet the sparkle makes it fun. I've really been loving nude and neutral nail polishes the last while and have a little list of OPI, Essie and Orly ones compiled that I am going to see if my aunt can pick up while she's in America.

MAC Spitfire and MAC Russian Red
Two bright and bold colours this month in terms of lip products! I picked up Spitfire from the recent MAC Wonder Woman collection and I Back to MAC'd for Russian Red. Both colours are pretty intense but, I really like them because they suit my skin tone perfectly.

This is the MAC 252 short handled brush that my boyfriend's mam gave me awhile ago and I discovered the other week that I LOVE applying Paint Pots with it. Usually I use my fingers but this gives a much more even and blended result.

My final beauty favourite for the month is this Babyliss Pro Curling Wand that my sisters gave me for my birthday. It heats up really hot and takes next to no time to curl your entire head of hair, even when it's as long as mine!

Now, onto the random favourites. I mentioned in my February Faves that I had picked up the entire House of Night book series and I finished it about a week ago. I'm not one of those people who are obsessed about vampires and vampire books but, this is just such an easy series to relax and unwind with...I kind of feel like it's The Babysitters Club (with vampires) for adults!

My music favourites are kind of determined by the gym and what I'm doing workout wise. I've been doing a lot of cardio this month so, to keep the speed and pace up when doing that, I've been listening to Eminem's album, Recovery. I was obsessed with Eminem when I was younger and I still think he's a bit of a genius (and a babe!). I've also been listening to Mumford & Sons album Sigh No More for my cool down.

My favourite thing this month has been my new Nintendo DSi that my boyfriend Kev got me for my birthday as well as the game Professor Layton and the Lost Future. He also got me Super Mario Bros. which I love but get so stressed out playing! If you like logic-type games you'll love the Professor Layton series.

And, finally, my favourite blog of the month goes to Saloule which is by the lovely Sarah. We've been chatting on Twitter a lot lately and we're totally on the same wave-length about things including our love for Louboutins and Tom Ford being an absolute GOD and I think that's why I like her blog so much as it is everything that I love as well. She does everything including hauls (even though she hates the word!), favourites and wishlists and it's just such a lovely girly blog that you have to check it out!!

Love,

S x
