I thought I would show you all a close-up of the eye look that I wore to the Beaut.ie screening of The Adjustment Bureau on Friday night and how I achieved it. I wanted it to be a look that could take me from shopping during the day in town to the screening at night without being too heavy or too light for either event. Sorry that the quality of the pictures is so bad, you can't really see the depth of the crease colour or the blending too well but, hopefully you get the gist!
I primed my lid using MAC Prep+Prime Eye and used MAC Paint Pot in Indianwood as my base. I packed MAC Eyeshadow in Amber Lights all over the lid; I always forget how much I love this colour, it is super pigmented and really brings out my eyes. I then used MAC Eyeshadow in Handwritten in the crease and MAC Eyeshadow in Carbon in the outer corner.

I lined my lower lashline using Amber Lights and used MAC Eyeshadow in Gesso as my brow bone highlight and inner corner highlight. I lined my eyes using MAC Eye Kohl in Teddy and, for mascara, I used my current favourite, MAC False Lashes.
For my brows I went with MAC Brow Pencil in Fling and Essence Brow Gel. I've posted before about how I struggle with filling in my brows but I think I have finally gotten the hang of it!
This look was quite simple to achieve but, it still had a strong impact.
