I don't know what came over me with this eye look as it is not something I would normally instinctively do! Yet here I found myself with an urge to put blue eyeshadow all over my lid and smoke it out...odd! I quite like how it turned out and, while I would never wear it during the day, as a night look it's lovely. I paired it with a neutral lip (MAC Honeylove lipstick with Girl's Delight Dazzleglass!).
First I primed my lid with Urban Decay Primer Potion. Doing this look again I would have probably used Blackground Paint Pot by MAC to make the blue super intense but, like I said, it was just something random and unexpected! I then applied MAC Deep Truth all over the lid with a flat shader brush, packing it on as opposed to sweeping.
The the crease I put MAC Nehru, a matte blackened navy which was not as harsh as a black would have been. To deepen the outer corner, I used MAC Black Tied. MAC Gesso and Crystal Avalanche were mixed for inner corner and brow bone highlight and Deep Truth was used on the lower lashline.
I used Blooz Eye Kohl by MAC, a navy eyeliner, on the water and tite lines and finished the look off with lashings of MAC Opulash.
Am honestly pleasantly surprised at how it turned out, it is so "not me" yet I really liked how intense it looked on!
