For years and years I never bothered to fill them in, they weren't that fair and I never knew what to use.
However, after a recent MAC appointment for a wedding, I became the proud owner of Fling Eye Brow Pencil. Then, I was looking through some older MAC appointment face charts (they used to fill one out for you with all the products they used and where) and I noticed that the girl had used Wedge eyeshadow on my brows.
I was intrigued as I have never been able to make my brows look as good as the make-up artist did using Fling and I have never tried an eyeshadow/angled brush combo before. Upon comparison, the colours are pretty similar though perhaps Fling is a touch darker.
Clearly not content with just two eyebrow options having come from none, I found a third in my collection, Benefit Silky Powder Eyeshadow in Moody.

Moody is the lightest of the three though there is not a world of difference between any of them. I find the brush (MAC 263) and eyeshadow combo easier to use but the brow pencil is better for night time, mainly because it is a bit darker and heavier but you do have less control and need a lighter hand.

Having spent so long not filling them in, I have come to see what I have been missing. My make-up looks more polished and pulled together and they really do frame my face. However, I am still none the wiser on what's the best method for filling brows in. Feel free to post your tips and tricks!
P.S. Apologies for not taking any pics of my own brows for this post...being the impoverished student that I am I can't afford to get them waxed at the moment and they aren't looking the best!
