Sinéad's NOTD: Models Own Purple Mystique
As you can see from the picture on the right, Purple Mystique is very much like Chanel's Vendetta. Both are equally lovely colours but, you can just make out the subtle difference in that picture; Purple Mystique has a magenta duochrome which, on the first coat, is the predominant colour (second coat gives you colour of my nails on the left) while Vendetta has a blue duochrome which makes that polish much much darker on application! Still, I think it's fair to say that the MO version is a cheaper but just as nice version of the Chanel. Dupe Alert!
Love,
S.

Review: Lancome Hydra Zen Neurocalm Moisturiser
After I mentioned it to my mam, she gave me a sample of Lancome's Hydra Zen Neurocalm Moisturiser to see if it would help at all.

Brand Overview: Soap & Glory

Soap & Glory do a line of really fun and affordable products that have captured a lot of my attention of late. The packaging is a joy - it's so pink and kitsch and never fails to escape my notice.
They do a wide range of products ranging from hair care to cosmetics that all have the same sweet scent. I've tried a good few so far and have been impressed overall! Read on for detailed reviews...

Tag: Getting to Know Me...Sinead's 40 Questions Beauty Tag
This is a fun tag that was going around the YouTube beauty community but, since I don't do videos, I thought I would put it here!
Hope you enjoy.

Review: Revlon PhotoReady Foundation
I can safely say that my confidence would be shot to pieces without a decent foundation, especially on nights out. Nothing is more unattractive than a greasy face! I have a few firm favourites, which I may list in another post, but am always on the look out for another gem...

Review: Chanel Beauté des Ongles Nail Polish Base Coat
I have always loved painting my nails, despite the fact they are short and quite weak. However, I have never really understood the need for a base coat/top coat- nail care for me is simply filing, shaping and buffing them. I have always found extras like base coats make your nails unnecessarily thick and more prone to chipping/peeling off which drives me insane!

Sinead's Skincare Routine: Normal Skin
I'm lucky enough to have relatively good skin. It is normal in type and doesn't tend to breakout. Winter is the only time it really acts up, getting the odd dry patch from going from freezing cold outside to the centrally heated indoors. With that said, my skincare routine is pretty simple and relatively cheap.
(Sidenote: I do suffer with eczema on my body, especially in winter, and have a skin care routine and some tips and tricks for dealing with it! But, that's for another post.)

Dee's Skincare Routine: Combination Skin
Over the years, I've had endless trouble with my skin. Acne has plagued me on and off for years and the subsequent scarring also really bothers me. I've tried endless products and was even put on antibiotics for my acne at the age of sixteen.
To be perfectly honest, I can't remember the last time I stepped out of the house without foundation and concealer on, but I do feel that my skin has settled somewhat now that I'm in my twenties - here's hoping it'll stay that way! I would label my skin as combination, but recent posts from Amy have had me doubting myself!
